David was born and lived most of his youth in Connecticut. David served in the Navy and was an Airman. After the Navy, David went to college, settled down in NY. He married his wife and they had 3 beautiful children. David worked as a professor of Architect at Syracuse University. David was also a magician as well as his father (who knew Hoodini).
Jeanne’s originally from Antigua. She’s a very social lady who shares wonderful stories of her childhood, friends, families and her look of cooking and baking. Jeanne’s been in the Rochester area over 40 years and has 1 son. Her favorite television programs are “The Golden Girls” and “Family Matters”. She shares of her career as a Cook and Baker, and her favorite recipe is a “pepper pot”.
Heather is our Director of Well-Being and Engagement. Her and the team of Engagement Specialists work to bring joy, laughter and purpose to residents at RPH. You can usually find Heather leading an activity, spending quality time with the residents, and bringing holiday cheer as Santa...the Easter Bunny...and more!
Anita has lived in Rochester throughout her life. She’s very social and well humored with everyone that she has contact with. She enjoys making others smile. She has 2 daughters and 2 brothers. Anita’s career was in Social Work for Monroe County Department of Social Services. Anita’s faith is of great importance to her. She had actively helped and supported her congregation over many years. She enjoys conversation of friends, family, career, and faith.
Cheryl and Dorothy first met as strangers, and are now the bestest of friends since moving into RPH. These two ladies are inseperable - matching their daily outfits, sitting together for meals, taking trips to our Country Store, and doing all the activities we have to offer (especially bingo)! They both grew up in the South and are one of the coolest duos around RPH!
Zoi pours her heart into every day, creating moments of joy and connection for our residents. Whether she’s leading an activity, sharing a laugh during a drive to medical appointments, or simply spending time listening, Zoi] finds deep reward in the smiles and laughter she brings to others. Zoi usually avoids any spotlight, but her warmth and compassion shine brightly in everything she does.
As one of our Registered Nurses, Marcia goes above and beyond to ensure everyone in her care feels safe, comfortable, and truly loved. Whether she’s offering a reassuring smile, a helping hand, or a heartfelt hug, she makes every resident feel like family. Her nurturing presence creates an environment where residents feel cherished and understood—and the love they have for her speaks volumes about the impact she makes every day.
Tamyah is a compassionate caregiver with a heart full of love for the elders she serves. As part of our Care Team, she is deeply committed to ensuring each resident feels valued, respected, and cared for in every way. She takes the time to understand their needs, preferences, and stories, creating a sense of connection that makes them feel right at home.
Anila has led a life filled with dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to others. She was born and raised in Vaghai, India where she received her nursing degree. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Long Island Jewish In Queens, NY.
Anila built a beautiful family, marrying and raising two wonderful children who have followed in her footsteps in the medical field. Supportive and loving, her children continue to be one of her greatest sources of joy.
