MEMORY CARE SERVICES
Elders residing within our 4 assisted living homes at Cottage Grove are accepted and loved as “family.” We celebrate each Elder’s unique history and emphasize their gifts. Our mission is to assure that each Elder feels a sense of belonging and experiences love, growth and fulfillment.
We care for persons living with memory loss at varying stages. While we accommodate needs associated with dementia, we focus on each individual’s strengths and develop wellness plans that address personal care needs but also nurture the human spirit.
As an Eden Alternative community, we strive to offer our Elders a way of life that is engaging and meaningful. It is our goal to alleviate loneliness through genuine relationships, eliminate helplessness through useful roles and reduce boredom by encouraging variety and spontaneity within our homes.
RESPITE CARE PROGRAM
Our respite care program at Cottage Grove provides temporary care – from one (2) weeks to six (6) weeks – and is ideal for Elders who need transitional support after an illness. It also allows caregivers to travel, focus on family issues, or just take a much-needed break. Many respite guests enjoy their stay so much they become permanent assisted living residents.
ASSISTED LIVING
At Cottage Grove, our Elders become part of an Eden family where their needs are accommodated and their quality of life and dignity are preserves.
We provide Enhanced Care to Elders living with advanced dementia within our Memory Care Residence for the Elders who do not have a cognitive impairment but require assistance with mobility and personal care.
Elders are able to “age in place” and avoid expensive medical care provided in a nursing home.
